Position Level:

Senior Executive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, drawings, specifications and conducting site visits.
• Create detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
• Administer construction contracts, assess variations, and manage contract-related documents.
• Lead the procurement process by preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor and subcontractor bids.
• Assess alternative materials, methods, and designs to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and functionality.
• Recommend value engineering options to optimize project costs.
• Assist in the resolution of disputes and claims that may arise during construction.
• Evaluate claims from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate settlements.
• Ensure that construction work complies with specified quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and audits as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a track record of handling complex projects.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Location Requirement:

• This position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor but also require to travel to our project site at Sungai Lembing, Kuantan, Pahang.
• Candidate must be willing and able to travel to work in above mentioned locations.
